OBJECTIVE

By looking at the rising numbers of online platform for Lord Muniswarar's devotees such as online muniswarar groups and facebook's page for every temple (Ayya). Temples  nowdays are using social networking site to promote ideas, principles and philosophy of Hinduism. The support shown by the devotees also far from great. So a blog and a facebook page for our temple is also created to promote the idea of hinduism,spirituality, Dharmam and also serve the  community  as an institution for social and community service in Batu Caves which is also an essential part of Hinduism teachings.
 
Along with our association's objective, by not only becoming a spritual institution for the people , our organization are also aiming to become more people-serving oriented, by helping them, educate them and assist them whenever in need.
 Such as,

• To provide solutions to people's problem and public issues such as My Kad issue, welfare department's claim, personal advice/consultation and so on.

• To educate the public by holding classes/public meetings to talk more about spirituality and Hinduism to enlighten people;s knowledge and their wisdom to spiritual knowledge, as knowledge is the best you can offer in order to help someone, doesn't matter you knew them or not.

• To provide free tuition and basic computer classes for primary and secondary school students

• To provide traditional dancing and activity classes such as kolaattam, bharathanaatyam, bhajans, urumee melam and so on.

• To provide motivational talks, leadership courses and skill training for Indian youths.

• To provide free archanai,  first of its kind among Malaysia's hindu temples.

• To allow the public to perform certain prayers by themselves, coordinated by the chief priest to spread the message that  everyone is equal enough to serve the GOD.

We in PPJJM believe that by understanding the people's need and being able to address people's problem which is inflating that right moment and also by providing both, the best intelectual  and physical solutions, we actually can help to reduce the social problem we, the Indians are facing right now.
